Tom Kerrisk received the Best Actor award for The Sleep Experiment at the ninth LA Crime & Horror Film Festival. The festival also named John Farrelly and the film as the recipient of its Jury of Peers Award.
The Jury of Peers award appears in the festival’s Audience Choice section, which recognises the film receiving the most audience votes. The published 2022 programme scheduled The Sleep Experiment for 19 November, with the awards presentation on 20 November.
Written and directed by Farrelly, the film follows two detectives investigating an experiment in which five prisoners were kept awake for thirty days. Its cast includes Kerrisk, Brian Moore, Steven Jess and Rob James Capel.
