THE LAST BOUNDARY

On a supposedly uninhabitable frontier world, a lone marshal patrols an abandoned coastline, hunting fugitives for the company preparing its resettlement. When a condemned settler leads him to a town erased from every official map, he discovers that the evacuation concealed a vast land grab—and that his own reports helped make its inhabitants disappear.

With the company’s autonomous patrols closing in, he must escort the last surviving witnesses across the territory he once policed before an approaching tide destroys the buried archive that could restore their claim. The law he carried into the wilderness now has a bounty on his head.
